James Daw, a London-based artist and illustrator, has worked many years as an abstract painter before turning his hand to illustration. His projects include editorial and magazine covers, packaging design, website design, painted murals, and workshops. James works in collage and mixed media by creating shapes, textures, scribbles, and splodges that are then scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. Always keeping a sense of experiment and play, James describes his work as bold, contemporary, quirky, and always with a sense of narrative and thought.
