For this puzzle design James wanted to capture the Tetris-like landscape of a big urban city like New York. You’ll notice that the super famous buildings aren’t really that prominent. Instead, he likes to bring to the forefront the buildings of the everyday, the ones people actually live in and buy groceries at. He loves how New York is a fully functioning place that people from all walks of life use constantly day and night and where some of these less flashy buildings are such a big part of that life.
